How to Beat the Volcano Boss in Merge a Nuke

Weak points, the event timer, the 3-player rule, and the Magma Multiplier reward — the Volcano Admin Abuse boss explained with screenshots. Updated September 2026.

Quick Answer

To beat the Volcano weak-point boss in Merge a Nuke, join a public server with at least 3 players, vote Yes when the poll asks to run the Volcano event, then do what the HUD says — Nuke the weak points! Aim your launches at the red weak-point markers on the volcano and keep launching until the event timer runs out. The mechanics change between Admin Abuse runs: in the recorded fight each nuke removed about 30 from an on-screen 750 bar, while patch coverage listed the weak point at 150 HP. Highest damage on the volcano wins the Magma Multiplier effect — and it cannot be earned in VIP servers.

Raise Max Spawn and vote Yes before the event starts

The boss window is short, so enter it with the strongest spawn setup you can afford. In the video the UPGRADE menu reads Spawn Tier Level 26 (33.55M) for $20.12T, Max Spawn Level 38 (42) for $7.74T and Lock Base Level 20 (02:34) at MAX — while the server votes "Should I run the volcano event?" with 28,550 Yes against 2,554 No. Every extra Max Spawn level is another nuke to throw at the boss.

When the vote passes, the map turns to lava

The moment the Volcano Admin Abuse event begins, the ocean becomes lava and your plot becomes a magma plot. Your nukes stay on their pads — the video shows a pink nuke waiting on a dark platform surrounded by molten ground, cash still ticking. Launch everything you have stockpiled; a nuke sitting idle deals zero boss damage.

Follow the HUD: Nuke the weak points!

The game states the objective for you. The video's HUD shows "Nuke the weak points!" under a live VOLCANO EVENT 07:01 timer with damage counters climbing — a nuke had just landed for 122 Damage. This is not a survival fight; it is a server-wide damage race against a clock.

Find the red weak-point marker on the volcano

The boss is the volcano at the center of the lava map, and only the marked spots take real damage. The video pans across the crater with a red weak-point marker glowing on its slope while players position around it. Patch coverage listed the weak point at 150 HP, but weak-point mechanics can change between Admin Abuse runs — confirm in-game during the event.

Aim your launch at the marked weak point

Target the boss like any attack: the video shows the launch targeting view centered on the boss crater with the red Cancel button ready if the aim is off. Nukes landing on the marked spot register weak-point hits; wide misses only splash. Take the extra second to center the marker.

Launch, reload, repeat until the timer ends

Weak points die to volume. The video follows a nuke arcing across the darkened sky toward the lava map while the event clock runs down. In this run each hit removed roughly 30 from the boss — the on-screen readout fell from 672.8 out of 750 to 595, then to 72 over the course of the fight. Those are snapshot values from one recording, not published constants.

Expect eruptions while you chip the boss down

The volcano fights back visually — the video shows it erupting mid-fight, throwing lava over the surrounding magma plots while players keep launching. In another creator's recording of the same event the boss took about twenty weak-point hits before the reward triggered, so plan for a grind rather than a one-shot.

The kill moment: a server-wide blast

When the boss falls the payoff is a map-wide explosion — the video captures the blast engulfing the crater with the red weak-point marker still visible at its base and cash popping across the screen. Second-by-second mechanics change between Admin Abuse runs, but the shape stays the same: team up, hit the marks, out-damage the timer.

Attack the city between boss runs for event cash

Boss damage is not the only income during the event. The same session shows "+$114.56T for attacking the city!" over the lava map — the city on the volcanic map pays huge cash while event multipliers are live. Bank it into Max Spawn and Spawn Tier so your next boss run hits harder.

How the Volcano boss actually works

The boss is a damage race, not a phased fight. When the server votes the Volcano event in, the map converts to lava, a timer starts (the recorded event showed 07:01 remaining and another creator's run lasted 10 minutes), and a live damage leaderboard tracks weak-point hits. Only the red-marked spots on the volcano take real damage, so volume and aim beat raw tier. The listed rewards are Magma Multiplier and Lava Merge, and per the in-game message the highest-damage player gets the effect on their nukes. A second recording of the same event (Hoplas2, "I Survived VOLCANO ADMIN ABUSE in Merge A Nuke...") confirms the 10-minute length and the on-screen warning that Magma multiplier rewards require at least three players and cannot be earned in VIP servers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the boss in Merge a Nuke?

The documented boss is the Volcano weak-point boss, which spawns during the Volcano Admin Abuse event with a live damage leaderboard tracking weak-point hits. It was added in the July 18, 2026 update. Its mechanics can change between Admin Abuse runs, so treat in-game prompts as the source of truth.

How much HP does the Volcano boss have?

Only the weak point has a stated value: patch coverage listed it at 150 HP. In the recorded fight the on-screen boss bar read 750 total, with each nuke removing about 30 — both numbers are snapshots from specific runs, and a current total HP figure remains Pending.

Who gets the boss reward in Merge a Nuke?

The in-game message read during the event says the player with the highest damage on the volcano gets the effect applied to their nukes. The event's listed rewards are Magma Multiplier and Lava Merge.

Why didn't I get the Magma Multiplier reward?

The game blocks it in small servers: Magma multiplier rewards require at least three players in the server and cannot be earned in VIP servers. One creator did the entire fight solo in a private server and received nothing — the requirement is enforced, not cosmetic.

Does the MAGMA code still work in Merge a Nuke?

MAGMA redeemed the Molten Magma Explosion Effect, a cosmetic that lands in your Inventory panel under Explosion Effects. Trackers dispute whether it is still active — some listed it as expired in September 2026, others still active — but it costs nothing to try.

Can I beat the Volcano boss alone or in a private server?

No. The boss needs a populated public server: at least 3 players, and VIP servers never run the reward. Solo damage also rarely wins — the reward goes to the highest total damage on the volcano.
