Merge a Nuke Rebirth Guide

Rebirth 6–10 bonuses, requirements, and when resetting pays off. Updated September 2026.

Cash bonuses and nuke counts below come from patch notes for each rebirth release. Requirements are listed only where they were published — Rebirth 8's commander gate is documented, but 9 and 10 were not described the same way. Always read the in-game Rebirth panel before resetting.

Quick Answer

Rebirth resets your nukes, cash and upgrades in exchange for a permanent cash bonus and extra nukes. The current ceiling is Rebirth 10: Rebirth 8 gives +110%, Rebirth 9 gives +120% and Rebirth 10 gives +130%, each with 5 additional nukes. Only Rebirth 8 has a documented gate — it needs the final nuke tier plus the Overclocker and Barrier commanders. Spend your cash before confirming, because the reset clears it.

Should you rebirth now?

The real question is not whether the bonus is bigger — it always is — but whether you will play long enough to earn back the progress you reset. Put in the bonus figures from your own Rebirth panel and roughly how long this run took.

Your numbers

+110%

Read this off your in-game Rebirth panel.

+120%
10h

Roughly how long this run took to get where it is now.

Payback

Time to get back to where you are

9.5 h

After that, everything is profit.

Income speed-up

1.05×

Hours you give up

27 min

Resetting makes every future hour earn 5% more. You rebuild to your current income in about 9.5 h instead of the 10.0 h it originally took — so if you plan to keep playing longer than that, rebirth now.

This assumes your rebuild scales with the cash multiplier, which is the dominant factor but not the only one — spawn tier upgrades and commanders also reset. Treat the result as a decision aid, not a promise.

Rebirth Loop

Wait for an income plateau

Rebirth becomes worth it when new merges and upgrades barely raise your cash/sec. Until then, keep merging — a reset too early throws away progress for little gain.

Spend your cash first

Rebirth resets your cash, so empty your wallet before you confirm. Buy affordable Spawn Tier and Max Spawn upgrades — any leftover cash is lost on reset.

Open the Rebirth menu

Find the Rebirth option on the left side of the screen. Once it is available, confirm to reset your nukes, cash, and upgrades in exchange for a permanent money multiplier.

Rebuild with the multiplier

After resetting you keep the permanent money multiplier and access to stronger nukes, so your next run reaches higher tiers faster than the progress you gave up.

Core Upgrades to Prioritize

Before a rebirth, balance your spending across the three core upgrades rather than pouring everything into one. They carry the early game and set up a faster climb after each reset.

Spawn Tier

Raises the tier of bombs and nukes you spawn, so each spawn starts closer to high-income nukes instead of the lowest tier.

Max Spawn

Increases how many nukes you can hold on the grid at once — more active nukes means more cash generated every second.

Lock Base

Strengthens your base lock so raiders cannot steal your stored cash while you are merging, AFK, or offline.

When NOT to Rebirth

  • You still gain meaningful cash/sec from your next few merges — keep merging instead of resetting.
  • You are sitting on a large cash pile you have not spent yet — buy upgrades first so nothing is wasted.
  • You have not redeemed active codes — free cash and nukes speed up the run you are about to reset.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does rebirth do in Merge a Nuke?

Rebirth resets your current nukes, cash, and upgrades, but grants a permanent money multiplier and access to stronger nukes. Open the Rebirth menu on the left side of the screen once it becomes available.

When should I rebirth in Merge a Nuke?

Rebirth once your income plateaus — when new merges and upgrades barely raise your cash/sec. The permanent multiplier then makes your next run climb tiers faster than the progress you reset.

What should I do before rebirthing?

Spend your remaining cash before you rebirth, because the reset clears it. Buy affordable Spawn Tier and Max Spawn upgrades, and merge to your highest tier for one last high-income session.

Does rebirth reset my codes and game passes?

Robux game passes are permanent Roblox purchases and stay after rebirth. Cash you redeemed from codes is spent in-run, so use it before rebirthing — leftover cash is lost on reset.

Is rebirth worth it in Merge a Nuke?

Yes, once you hit a plateau. The permanent money multiplier compounds future earnings, so each rebirth lets you reach higher nuke tiers faster than the run you reset. Exact multiplier values are community estimates and can change with Friday patches.

What is the max rebirth in Merge a Nuke?

Rebirth 10 is the highest tier the patch notes have published so far. It arrived on July 25, 2026 in the same patch as Rebirth 9 and grants +130% cash plus 5 additional nukes. Whether a hard cap exists above 10 is still Pending — our data tracks tiers through R10 and the live ceiling can move with a Friday patch, so confirm it in the in-game Rebirth panel.

What does Rebirth 9 give in Merge a Nuke?

Rebirth 9 grants +120% cash and 5 additional nukes. It arrived with the July 25, 2026 patch.

What are the Rebirth 7 requirements in Merge a Nuke?

Nothing was published. The July 4, 2026 notes never listed a gate for Rebirth 7 — no commander requirement and no cash bonus either. The only confirmed reward is 5 additional nukes, alongside five new Index nukes in the same update. Read your in-game Rebirth panel for the actual condition.

What are the Rebirth 8 requirements in Merge a Nuke?

Rebirth 8 requires the final nuke tier plus the Overclocker and Barrier commanders. It is the only rebirth with a documented commander gate, so pick up both units before you plan the reset. It grants +110% cash and 5 additional nukes.

What are the Rebirth 9 requirements in Merge a Nuke?

Not published. The July 25, 2026 notes gave Rebirth 9's rewards — +120% cash and 5 additional nukes — but no gate, and unlike Rebirth 8 they listed no commanders at all. Silence is not a guarantee, though: open the in-game Rebirth panel before you plan the reset.

What are the Rebirth 10 requirements in Merge a Nuke?

Also not published. Rebirth 10 shipped in the same July 25, 2026 patch as Rebirth 9 and pays +130% cash with 5 additional nukes, but its requirement never appeared in the notes. Since 10 is the current ceiling, the in-game Rebirth panel is your only reliable check before you commit the run to it.

Is the rebirth cash bonus permanent?

Yes. The cash bonus and the extra nukes carry across resets — that is the whole point of rebirthing. What you lose is your current cash, nukes and upgrades.

Do rebirth bonuses stack in Merge a Nuke?

Each rebirth level publishes its own bonus figure (+110%, +120%, +130% for 8, 9 and 10). The notes list them per level rather than as a running total, so read your in-game multiplier rather than adding them up yourself.

Is there a rebirth bug in Merge a Nuke?

We do not track specific glitches or exploits, and patch notes never document them anyway. For the intended fastest route into your next rebirth, use our how-to-rebirth-fast guide at /how-to-rebirth-fast.

Do game passes make rebirthing easier in Merge a Nuke?

Some passes raise cash or nuke output, which shortens the climb between rebirths. Published notes never quantify a rebirth-specific synergy, so that part stays Pending — compare what each pass actually does on our /game-passes page before you buy.
