Merge a Nuke Contract Board

All 12 contract slots, the reward types, and how to unlock the rotating Unique Commander. Updated July 2026.

Contract names and slot counts come from the July 18, 2026 patch coverage. Individual contract objectives and reward amounts are not published, and the Unique Commander reward rotates every 14 days — read the board in-game before planning a grind.

Quick answer

The Contract Board gives you 12 contracts at a time — 5 Daily, 5 Weekly and 2 Monthly, each on its own refresh timer. Rewards are cash, temporary boosts, permanent stat boosts, and progress toward a Unique Commander that rotates every 14 days. The catch: that commander contract stays locked until you have completed every other available contract, so you cannot cherry-pick the easy ones. Diplomat (Legendary) was the first reward.

Overview

The Contract Board is the game's quest system, added on July 18, 2026. Instead of a one-off timed event, it gives you a rolling set of objectives on three separate timers, and completing all of them unlocks a commander you cannot get any other way.

Contract slots

5× Daily

Refreshes on its own daily timer

The bread and butter of the board. Five objectives that reset each day, mostly built around actions you would take anyway — merging, launching and raiding.

5× Weekly

Refreshes on its own weekly timer

Longer objectives worth more than dailies. These are the ones to check first if you only log in a few times a week, since they persist far longer.

2× Monthly

Refreshes on its own monthly timer

Two heavyweight objectives drawn from a small rotation. Treat these as background goals rather than something to chase directly.

Known contract names

These are the contract names confirmed in the July 18 patch coverage. Objectives and reward amounts were not published, so we list the names rather than inventing requirements for them.

  • Nuisance
  • Doomsday
  • Backstabber
  • Military Money Moves
  • I'm The Captain Now

Weekly

  • Damage Do-er

Reward types

Cash

Straight cash injections. Useful early, largely irrelevant once your passive income scales.

Temporary boosts

Short-lived multipliers. Save these for an active session rather than burning them right before you log off.

Permanent stat boosts

The reason to take the board seriously. These do not expire, so every one you claim compounds with everything you do afterwards.

Unique Commander progress

The headline reward. Progress accumulates toward a commander that rotates every 14 days — Diplomat (Legendary) was the first.

The Unique Commander reward

This is the only source for certain commanders, and it has a catch: the Unique Commander contract does not unlock until you have completed every other available contract. That means you cannot cherry-pick the easy dailies and claim it — the board has to be cleared. The reward rotates every 14 days, so if you are chasing a specific commander, check what is currently in the slot before committing to two weeks of grinding.

First reward: Diplomat (Legendary)

How to play the board efficiently

Clear weeklies before dailies

Weeklies usually overlap with daily objectives, so progress you make on a weekly often ticks a daily too. Reading the weekly list first tells you which dailies are free.

Do not skip a day if you want the commander

Because the Unique Commander needs every available contract cleared, a skipped day is not just lost cash — it can put the commander out of reach for that rotation.

Prioritise permanent boosts

Temporary boosts feel good but expire. When you have a choice about which contract to push, the ones granting permanent stat boosts are worth more over any timeframe longer than a session.

Check the rotation before grinding

The Unique Commander slot changes every 14 days. If the current one is a unit you already own, the board is still worth doing for boosts — but there is no rush.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Contract Board in Merge a Nuke?

It is the quest system added on July 18, 2026. You get 5 Daily, 5 Weekly and 2 Monthly contracts, each on its own refresh timer, and completing them awards cash, temporary boosts, permanent stat boosts, and progress toward a Unique Commander.

How do I get the Unique Commander from the Contract Board?

You have to complete every other available contract first — the Unique Commander contract stays locked until the rest of the board is cleared. The reward rotates every 14 days, so check which commander is currently in the slot before starting.

How do I get Diplomat in Merge a Nuke?

Diplomat (Legendary) was the first Contract Board Unique Commander, unlocked by clearing all available contracts. Because the slot rotates every 14 days, Diplomat may not be the current reward — check the board in-game.

How many contracts are there in Merge a Nuke?

Twelve slots at a time: 5 Daily, 5 Weekly and 2 Monthly. The names drawn into those slots rotate from larger pools, so you will not see the same twelve every cycle.

Do contracts expire in Merge a Nuke?

Each tier refreshes on its own timer — daily, weekly and monthly respectively. Unfinished contracts are replaced when their tier refreshes, which is why missing days matters if you are chasing the Unique Commander.

Are Contract Board rewards permanent?

Some are. The board mixes one-off cash, temporary boosts that expire, and permanent stat boosts that do not. The permanent ones are the most valuable long-term reward besides the commander.
