Quick answer

How to get Recon

Advanced Warfare pack (4.5%) or the base map pool.

After the July 25, 2026 patch there is no Commanders button — open Inventory to check whether Recon is already in your collection, and to read its current ability card.

Pack odds

Advanced Warfare Commander Pack

Drop chance for Recon: 4.5% — Also spawns in the base commander pool, so you can get it free.

The only pack with published drop rates. Note how heavily it is weighted toward the two Rare units — roughly two thirds of all rolls.

What we know about its ability

Ability text pending. This is the one Legendary in the Advanced Warfare pack you can also get for free from map spawns.

We do not publish invented damage or multiplier numbers for commanders. Nuke The Game has never released an ability table, and values quoted from video narration are not the same as an in-game card read. If you have a screenshot of the Recon card, the in-game tooltip beats every wiki including this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you get Recon in Merge a Nuke?

Advanced Warfare pack (4.5%) or the base map pool. Since the July 25, 2026 patch, check your Inventory rather than a Commanders button to see whether you already own it.

What rarity is Recon in Merge a Nuke?

Recon is a Legendary commander. Rarities can be adjusted in Friday balance patches, so confirm the label on its card in Inventory.

Is Recon worth using?

Merge a Nuke does not publish commander ability numbers, so we will not rank Recon against the rest with made-up stats. Compare its tooltip in Inventory against what you have equipped, and pick based on whether you are farming cash or fighting wars.
