How to Get an Admiral Commander in Merge a Nuke

Admiral is the rarity chip above Legendary in the commander panel, and only Drone, Apache and Carrier wear it. Every Admiral claim below is traced to a screenshot or a player statement. Updated September 2026.

Quick Answer

In Merge a Nuke, Admiral is the top commander rarity — the last chip in the in-game ladder after COMMON, RARE, EPIC and LEGENDARY — introduced with Commanders Pt. 2 on June 28, 2026. Our roster data places exactly three units at that tier: Drone (Advanced Warfare pack, a 0.5% roll), Apache (map spawn, rate cut to roughly 0.05% on July 4, 2026) and Carrier (map spawn). The video we followed shows the tier from the outside — an Admiral-labelled Index cell still a black silhouette, and an admin announcing "admiral commanders" in public chat before Apaches and Carriers land on plots. Ability text for all three is still Pending, and no Admiral has been read off an in-game card: every Admiral here is coverage- or player-reported.

  1. 1

Open the Index and check the Admiral rows

The Index is the game's own checklist, and this one reads 17/26 Discovered. Two cells in the visible rows carry the red Admiral label and are still black silhouettes, and the panel is clipped on the right and bottom — so read a partial grid as a partial grid. The count comes from the roster: exactly three units are Admiral, Drone, Apache and Carrier. Anything naming a fourth is going beyond what the game data holds.

Read the rarity ladder: Admiral sits above Legendary

Open the commander panel and the right-hand column lists the tiers in order — COMMON, RARE, EPIC, LEGENDARY, ADMIRAL. Admiral is the last chip, which is why players treat it as a ceiling rather than one more Legendary. The same frame carries the panel's other number: Equipped 6/6, the slot cap that decides how many commanders actually fight for you. Patch caveat: this footage predates the July 25, 2026 change that folded the Commanders button into Inventory.

Learn what the tier below Admiral actually looks like

Every readable card in this source video stops at Legendary. Here the Lv 5 Raider's Raid passive is fully on screen: it sails over a target's base, blockades it, siphons a share of their income and dumps the loot at your plot. No Admiral card appears anywhere in the footage, because the recorder never owned one — ability text for Drone, Apache and Carrier stays Pending in our data. Treat any site printing an Admiral multiplier as unverified.

Watch public chat for the Admiral announcement

Admiral spawns are announced out loud. Here the player running the event types it before the timer expires: "Once the timer ends ill start giving out some admiral commanders". Nothing about that moment is gated — the announcement, the countdown and the later spawn feed are all public chat, which is why the hunt is a server-selection problem rather than a payment problem. If you are chasing, this is the line to look for, and it is the reason the next two frames exist.

Catch the Apache the moment the spawn chat fires

Seconds after that promise the chat fills with three lines from the same admin: "slayer has spawned 1x Apache Commanders randomly". Apache is one of the two map-spawn Admirals, and our data records its spawn rate as cut to roughly 0.05% on July 4, 2026 — one of the rarest free units in the game. The announcement is the signal and the capture window is short: you claim a spawned commander by landing the killing blow on it, and this creator's own reaction seconds earlier was simply "Ooh, an Apache".

Sweep the same servers for the Carrier

The Carrier is announced the same way: two toasts reading "slayer has spawned 1x Carrier Commanders randomly" over a plot the recorder is lining up to nuke. The labelled Sovereign with its 45.1K/135.8K bar in the same frame is one tier down, and it shows the mechanic you are waiting for — a spawned commander with its own health bar, claimable by destroying it. Carrier's spawn rate is not published in our data and its ability text is Pending, like the other two Admirals.

What we can and cannot say about Admiral

Our commander roster documents Admiral as the top entry in the rarity order, above Legendary, added with Commanders Pt. 2 on June 28, 2026. Three units carry it: Drone (Advanced Warfare pack — 0.5% roll, added July 13, 2026), Apache (map spawn — rate cut to roughly 0.05% on July 4, 2026) and Carrier (map spawn). All three are labelled reported, so the rarity comes from patch coverage and player footage rather than an in-game card, and their ability text stays Pending. Nuke The Game publishes no official roster, and Friday patches rebalance drop rates. Robux prices, per-pull guarantees and pity timers are Not published. Every number visible in the screenshots on this page is a snapshot from one recorded session, not a fixed value.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Admiral in Merge a Nuke?

It is the game's top commander rarity — the final chip in the in-game ladder after Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary — introduced with Commanders Pt. 2 on June 28, 2026. Exactly three commanders carry it: Drone, Apache and Carrier, and the commander Index shows those three Admiral cells and no more. All three are marked reported in our roster, meaning the rarity comes from patch coverage and player video rather than an in-game card read.

How do you get an Admiral commander in Merge a Nuke?

Two routes exist in our data. Drone is the 0.5% roll inside the Advanced Warfare pack, the only commander pack with published odds. Apache and Carrier come from map spawns, and during Admin Abuse the hosting player announces them in public chat before they appear on plots. You claim a spawned commander by destroying it. The general acquisition routes — map spawns, event cities, the Contract Board, Mystery Supply Drops and Robux packs — are covered on the commanders guide page.

Is Apache rarer than the other Admirals?

On the numbers we can attribute, yes. Our roster records Apache's map-spawn rate as cut from about 0.2% to roughly 0.05% in the July 4, 2026 update, which makes it one of the rarest free units in the game. Carrier's rate is not published at all, and Drone's is the fixed 0.5% pack roll. All three stay reported figures, not in-game reads, and Friday patches rebalance drop rates.

What do Admiral commanders do?

Ability text is Pending for Drone, Apache and Carrier. No Admiral card has been captured on camera in any footage we can attribute, so we publish no multiplier, cooldown or passive for the tier. The highest card readable in our source video is Legendary — Raider's Raid and Sergeant's Hold The Line. We will update the roster page the moment an Admiral card is actually read.

How much does the Advanced Warfare pack cost, and is there a pity timer?

We do not publish Robux prices for commander packs — they move with promotions and discounts, so the in-game shop is the only source of truth. What the shop screen does print is per-roll odds, including the 0.5% LIMITED slot that holds the Drone. Per-pull guarantees and pity timers are Not published for any commander pack, so do not plan a budget around an expected number of rolls.

Do players back up the Admiral rarity claim?

Only as player-reported observation. Kream Blox states on camera that Admiral commanders are the rarest thing in the game, that there are only three of them, and that he spent a lot of Robux chasing one without success; after a full session of hopping servers he concludes he did not find any Admirals. Ethansheah makes the same rarity statement in a separate video. Neither is a developer confirmation.

Where is the Commanders button in these screenshots?

On the left rail under Store, which is where it sat before the July 25, 2026 patch. That update removed the standalone Commanders button — commanders now live inside Inventory, alongside Explosion Effects. The rarity ladder, the Index and the pack odds screen all still show the same information, so the screenshots remain readable; only the entry point moved.
